Born and raised in Sacramento, Adam began working with computers when he was barely 7 years old. It started with a computer and printer his father brought home from the office. Computers became an instant interest to Adam and he began acquiring manuals for hardware and software, followed by real books on technology. He expanded his interest into audio and video, being an early non-broadcast explorer of converting video into a digital format.
By age 13, Adam fell into managing the computer network at his father’s office after he successfully diagnosed a problem after an experienced adult computer technician could not.
He began working with website design and graphics at age 16.
By 17, Adam began taking on real business clients for IT support and website design, starting with business associates of his father. Referrals began pouring, but Adam had to limit himself through college.
During college he became an early adopter of providing support services remotely, solving technical issues with business networks more quickly using remote access over the internet. The first instance of remote support was resolving a QuickBooks multi-user issue for a business in Antioch.
After finishing with school, he returned to working full time as an IT consultant to local businesses. Shortly after returning, he began applying what he had learned about marketing in school with what he had learned about IT and the internet. His skills perfected over the years and it wasn’t long before he had equal passions for both technology and internet marketing. This union of subjects proved to be very important in addressing a wide variety of business needs.
After over 10 years in business, he decided that it was time to put a company name on his work and Clarity Business IT Solutions was formed. The rest, as they say, is history.
